Come discover one of the largest civil protection shelters in the city of Prague! The Folimanka Shelter is well maintained, it is lit and heated.
OPEN DAY TOURS FOR PUBLIC
The underground shelter is open to the public once a month on a Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Visitors are able to wander around freely (unguided tour) and entrance is free of charge. Should you have any questions concerning the bunker and its history please feel free to ask Prague District Office employees located at the entrance to the shelter or any volunteer workers that you’ll meet inside (we speak Czech, Slovak, English and Russian). Remember, you need at least one hour to explore the shelter. The shelter closes at 3 pm without exception.

The tour is also suitable for kids and seniors. The entire enclosure is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Well behaved pets are welcome.

GROUP GUIDED TOURS
Group guided tours must be booked and arranged beforehand with the staff at Prague 2 District Office. Pre-booked guided tours run on work days from 8am to 3pm. The minimum group size is 15 persons, maximum 35 persons. Tours are free of charge.
HOW TO GET TO THE FOLIMANKA SHELTER
The entrance to the Folimanka Shelter is located in Prague 2, at Pod Karlovem Street, opposite the building no. 2. Nearest tram stations Pod Karlovem or Nuselské schody (line no. 6, 11).
